NATIVE ASA SERVER PLUGIN

Tick-rate control with a real benchmark attached.

Change the dedicated server cap, inspect observed world TPS and keep the data visible only to administrators.

WHAT IT MEASURES

One overlay. The metrics that matter.

The live monitor is designed for benchmarking rather than decoration. It keeps enough context on screen to spot whether a missed target is caused by the game loop or overall resource pressure.

  • Observed world TPS and configured target
  • Target achievement percentage
  • Average tick duration in milliseconds
  • Process CPU and memory usage
  • Connected players and server uptime
WORLD TPS59.9 / 6099.8% of target
TICK TIME16.69 msLive sample window
PROCESS28% · 13.8 GiBCPU · memory
DEPLOYMENT

Fits the two ASA server paths.

01

Native Windows

Install ASA Server API 2.01, place the TickRate folder under ArkApi/Plugins, add the licence key and start the server through the API loader.

02

Pterodactyl + Proton

Use the included Version.dll proxy-loader package with the supported Proton startup command. Players still connect with the standard game client.

Always back up the server before changing native plugins. Raising the cap increases CPU demand and must be tested under representative world load.

OPERATING MODEL

Policy comes from the licence service.

The local INI remains intentionally small. The licence service controls commercial usage, activation capacity, heartbeat policy, request timeout and offline grace.

ADMIN COMMANDS
tickrate.status

Display current target, observed TPS and hook status.

tickrate.monitor on

Open the compact admin benchmark overlay.

tickrate.monitor off

Close the overlay without affecting the override.

Test conservatively. Measure honestly.

60 TPS is a sensible first benchmark. A 120 TPS target is appropriate only when the CPU and world workload can sustain it.
